International Conference on the Development of Education and Innovation to Be Held
From 13 to 15 May, LBTU Malnava College will host the international conference Building the Future Together, organized as part of the European Union’s Recovery Fund project Strengthening LBTU’s Institutional Capacity for Excellence in Studies and Research.
The aim of the conference is to pilot the new study programmes developed within the project, while promoting the exchange of experience between Latvian and foreign experts. The conference will serve as a platform for the international recognition of the new study programmes, for strengthening the academic capacity of LBTU Malnava College, for fostering international cooperation, and for contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
The conference motto Building the Future Together! invites participants to pool their knowledge, ideas, and experience to discuss the quality of education, innovation, and the challenges of regional development.
The conference will be attended by:
faculty members and researchers interested in improving the quality of education, modernizing the teaching process, and developing interdisciplinary approaches;
policy makers, particularly in the fields of education, higher education, regional development, and innovation, for whom data- and research-based decision-making is essential;
Latvian and international institutional partners—universities, colleges, research institutes, international organizations, and professional associations;
entrepreneurs and industry professionals who see the benefits of collaborating with educational institutions, innovative study programmes, and competency development;
students who wish to engage in an international academic environment and learn about new study opportunities.
